This is amazing, quite enough -
My work is quite a prison stuff.
It is not just a campus site -
It's prison ministry and fight.
We all in jail cells abided.
Some heard the news of open doors.
They pushed and locks fell down rumbling.
To cells these people said: Adios!
So, now, friends, we altogether
Proclaim the truth of broken locks
That freedom's near and you need to
Just push and open those doors.
It's so sad to see the suffer
Of captive prisoners around.
But they don't listen and don't want to
To push the doors and hear the sound
Of joyful hymn for God who's saving
The lost and wicked sinners crowd
And hear His voice that is declaring
That sinner's now a child of God.
My prison ministry is making
A little progress step by step.
At least a lot have heard of pleasure
That with the Lord all sins are swept.
We can just pray and keep proclaiming
But we can't drag those people out.
It's their choice, though so stupid,
And we'll continue sow the doubt
In self-sufficiency of humans,
In independence from the Lord,
In happy life without Jesus
Or even happy life abroad.
May their hearts be full of doubts!
May all this lead them to the truth!
And may the tricky lies of devil
Be brought to light for stumbling youth.
I pray that truth we're daily sowing
Would make a strong and growing root
In students' hearts and will be glowing
For every lost and captive dude.
May their faith shine in the darkness
Like fancy glowing wristband.
And even brighter, even stronger
And stretching saving Jesus' hand.
Well, do, my friend, your work in prison.
And help and train your fellow guy
To tell the stuck in vicious lies
That freedom lays here nearby.
