My weekly planner

The war is raging in my book,
That's called a weekly planner.
I'm fighting hours, and days,
And tasks in ugly manner.

I want to crave out the time
For being with Sasha daily.
I want the order and routine.
It seems I keep on failing.

I want to rest, and serve, and live,
With light of Christ be shining.
But things are piling up so fast,
I fall behind, climbing.

At first I do prioritize
The Master of the cosmos*.
Yes, in my weekly planning book
He is the first. I promise.

But when the battle of the day
Is raging on and stronger,
My first priority is last,
The rest are being corroded.

I'm holding strongly to the mast
In stormy days and schedules.
I'm falling on the deck and sleep
To wake up and be ready.

Again I'm learning how to walk
And how to go through pressure.
Again I'm learning how to see
The heart behind the passion.

The war is raging in my book.
I fight, though often losing.
But I cannot just to give it up.
I'll fight and shoot, intruding.

I'll take more land. I will endure.
My General is leading.
My life is orbiting His plan.
To Him it's fully given.

Ungraspable

32.2
Billion years away,*
Years for light
To travel this way

From the farthest of galaxies
That people found
I'm trying to grasp
On my couch right now.

How can it be true?
How can we exist?
How can all my neurons
Move and persist,

Pointing towards
The impossible God,
Who weaved all my tissues,
The nature, the world?...

I'm speechless, I'm writing
With the talent I got.
I'm moving and thinking
Of things I see not.

What an amazing
And a wonderful chance
To perceive all my smallness,
To accept His romance!

He has charmed me with glory
Of heavens and Earth,
Impossible Master
And not just a force.

I'm shocked and I'm humbled.
I'm stunned and in awe,
Writing poetry - something
I've not learned before.

I'm moved by my Master,
The Almighty is near,
The Creator of galaxies,
Unbelievably here.

I'm shocked and I'm stunned,
Sitting here in our flat.
I'm trying to grasp
And I cannot do that.

Landing

I'm landing in Your greatness,
Tired from the daily haste.
I've landed on a couch,
Touching ground of Your grace.

Lord, I thank You for Your goodness,
For Your love and For Your care.
Lord, I thank You for the landing
On the Moon, that humans dared.

Lord, I thank you for Your beauty,
For the world You placed us in.
Lord, before Your throne of glory
Stars and galaxies are dim.

You are Lord of all creation.
You are our amazing God.
Though I can't perceive Your greatness,
I'm amazed, I'm struck in awe.

I bow down before You humbly
In my heart, and mind, and soul.
You're my life, my sense, my meaning.
You're my joy, my love, my goal.

I am laying on a couch,
In a flat we rent so well.
But my soul's in hands of Jesus
And in Him I truly dwell.

He prepared a house eternal
Both for me and for my wife,
Hopefully for children also.
And my hope's in King of Life.

I'm abiding in your presence,
Sun is shining through the glass.
I'm Yours, please hold me closely,
In Your loving hands hold us.

Vision cleared through the prayer.
Life reflects another light.
God refuelled my heart with passion
And then launched to fight His fight.

The Storm Of Pain

So much. The pain is so much.
Around me. And now I'm touched.
I'm touched by pain. The pain I got.
Pain that the sin of men has brought.

I'm touched. I'm wounded. I'm hit.
I'm the target. I'm not missed.
The broken world does not protect.
It gives you up without respect.

Like storm that hits the sails so hard,
It falls on me without alarm.
And if not God, without Him
I'd go straight down with my beams.

My sails are wet. They're torn and ragged.
But I - somehow - sail ahead.
I do not understand the wind,
But to the Lord I'm giving in.

A Tattoo for God

6 Now when Jesus was at Bethany in the house of Simon the leper,
7 a woman came up to him with an alabaster flask of very expensive ointment, and she poured it on his head as he reclined at table.
8 And when the disciples saw it, they were indignant, saying, "Why this waste?
9 For this could have been sold for a large sum and given to the poor."
10 But Jesus, aware of this, said to them, "Why do you trouble the woman? For she has done a beautiful thing to me.
11 For you always have the poor with you, but you will not always have me.
12 In pouring this ointment on my body, she has done it to prepare me for burial.
13 Truly, I say to you, wherever this gospel is proclaimed in the whole world, what she has done will also be told in memory of her." (Mat 26:6-13)

A Tattoo for God

I think of a tattoo
That now I'm sold out.
Though shortly I'll be judged
But this is an amount

Of crazy thankful praise
That I can now offer,
Dismissing words and looks
From legalists and mockers.

My God deserves my praise,
It can't be too extensive.
The praise that I can sing,
The ointment so expensive.

My body is for Him,
My acts, and looks, and gazing,
My life, relationships
Should all just Him be praising.

Sold out I should be
In all my being and thinking.
Sealed by the Holy Ghost
Just Him I'm now seeking.

I think of a tattoo,
A sign of belonging,
That Jesus is my all,
That Him I always follow.

That's not a stamp of fad,
It's niether an emotion,
Nor what my friend once had,
Nor a protesting motion.

I think of a tattoo,
That's crazy to stick out
For a guy like me, but Paul
Would do, without a doubt.

To Jesus he was sold,
Sold out for the Gospel.
For Jews he was like one,
For Hellines like another,

But all - for Christ and God,
Sold out without a doubt.
I think of a tattoo,
That crosses people's minds,

That goes against the look,
That's stirring thoughts and shaking,
That breaks stereotypes.
But will I ever make it?

I might get a desease.
It blurs with time. It's fading.
I might dislike the art
That on my hand has landed.

Sometimes I'll be ashamed
Of things I do and think of
While having such a mark.
I'll want to hide or shrink it.

I think of a tattoo,
Though I might never make it.
A sign of my faith,
The true one. No faking.

It's like a seal of faith
That sits there, stamps me boldly.
Despite my sinful flesh,
It'll point to the Holy.

I think of a tattoo.
A sign of my passion
For God who got my faith,
Of which it's a confession.

But all in all I got
Once a tattoo inside me,
The Ghost's holy seal,
And no, it wasn't frightening.

I'm saved with a tattoo
That's seen sometimes by people.
I'm thinking of the one
They'll notice like a steeple.

And I don't want to brag
With ink that's slowly drying.
I want to be sold out
Without compromising.

I think of a tattoo,
Though I might never make it.
A sign of my faith,
That's true, without faking.

Once in my life...

Once in my life was much despair.
Once in the past I knew no God.
Once I was lost and ran for pleasures,
I sought them, though I found them not.

I tried to go with Work & Travel.
But where's my happy life abroad?
Did I enjoyed my idols, revel?
Where are my idols? You forgot?

God took them in a half a year.
I learned that happiness is close.
News of true happiness and pleasure
God sent me through my friend, of course.

Oh, thank you, God, for brother Ewan! -
This faithful guy with a little flock,
Who has rejected cosy living
In Colorado and New York,

Who told me of my state and how
I can restore my broken heart,
And how I can reconcile
And truly happy be with God.

And when I saw the Gospel's riches,
How filling is the life of faith,
My empty comfort-seeking efforts
I  left behind in my race.

I got the pleasure in my living:
A higher goal, a higher God.
My life transformed and started beaming.
I found more than I have sought.

I was forgiven for my failures,
For all my sins, my selfishness.
Through Christ I was redeemed, restructured.
I got a new heart. I got faith.

And now I live like never dreamed to.
My life is filled with You, my God.
It's full of sense, it's full of meaning.
And I enjoy so much my lot.

My thankful heart is warmed and melted
Of just remembering Your grace,
Of just embracing all the changes
You did in me - a basket case.

My heart is warmed, and soft, and melted.
My life is in Your loving hand.
My Lord, I thank You for Your treasure
I found and I'll keep till end.

Precious

I'm holding tightly
This little book
A piece of glory
That largely shook
The world.

I'm holding tightly
This precious
Leather bound book.
I'm melting
As I think what took

Our God to come
And give us grace, not wrath,
Our God - to change
The whole planet's face.

I'm holding tightly
Little piece of grace.
I'm melting down,
Resting from my race.

I'm dwelling
In this book of life.
I'm spelling,
Spelling out my strive.

I'm casting out
Sorrows, worldly thoughts.
I'm coming back
To my refreshing
Living waters' source.

Please, hold me tightly,
Little precious book.
Please, guard me well,
My thoughts, my faith, my look.

Please, hold me, Author
Of the life and faith.
Please, guide me calmly
To Your dwelling place.

I'm choosing life.
I'm choosing You,
Not him.
May You released be,
Not the murder or the sin.*

I choose the book of life,
Not news of death.
I choose a righteous path,
Not what my flesh requests.

I chose, I have walked.
I stumbled, dropped the ball.
And I looked up. And You
Helped me endure it all.

I follow, follow You.
My life is in Your palm.
Abiding in Your word,
I praise You with Your psalm...
